This is an enlargement of just a small part of the right hand side of the seastar arm shown in the previous photograph. Do you see the other animal? If not, do you see the two whitish colored dots? These are the eyes of a totally transparent shrimp. The rest of the shrimp's body can just be seen stretching out toward the top of the photograph, but only because it slightly distorts the view of the seastar skin below it. The shrimp is about 0.5 cm long.
