       Milne
Bay Critters, Papua New Guinea
382 images from one of the world's foremost dive destinations. Milne
Bay is famous for its wide diversity of not only marine species but
also of dive sites. These sites range from pristine reefs atop
submerged open sea pinnacles to some of the best known muck-dive sites
anywhere in the global ocean. The images in this screen saver cover
the range of living things that are found in these environments from
exotic looking algae to many species of colorful reef fishes; from beautiful
species of soft corals and sea fans to at-first sight odd looking ghost
pipefish, scorpionfish, and lionfish; from massive whale sharks to shrimps,
crabs, and pycnogonids (sea spiders) smaller than the tip of your little
finger that live their lives on or in a larger host such as an anemone,
starfish, urchin or coral; from numerous species of brightly colored
nudibranchs and flatworms to barracudas and sharks. All of these
are represented in this screen saver drawn from images taken on our
hundreds of dives over many years in Milne Bay. Preview the images in

|        Corals,
Anemones and their Relatives
125 images showing the incredible diversity of color and form of the
groups of organisms called coelenterates. This group includes
hard and soft corals, corallimorphs, anemones, cerianthids and zooanthids.
These organisms all feature a ring of tentacles around a mouth
with a very simple underlying body structure. Many of these species

give the amazing range of shapes and forms of coral reefs and the beautiful
soft corals and anemones that decorate these reefs. Preview the
